從基地遇襲到大使館被包圍破壞、從無人機獵殺軍隊二把手到飛彈反擊，波斯灣（Persian Gulf）局勢再次被美國與伊朗兩國炒熱，彷彿隨時都可能會出現「最後一根稻草」。

美國總統川普（Donald Trump）於臺北時間9日凌晨發表美伊衝突的最新談話，川普遲到了30分鐘才抵達現場。

川普再次強調，只要他擔任總統的一天，伊朗就沒有機會擁有核武。

「我確認伊朗的攻擊，並沒有任何美國人或伊拉克人受傷死亡。感謝事前充足的準備和訓練，以及早期預警系統的有效啟用。」

川普在演說中，抨擊伊朗從美國獲得大量資金和援助，卻利用這些資助，到敘利亞、黎巴嫩、葉門發展恐怖活動。

他也呼籲北約（NATO）更深入介入中東地區，美國是全世界最大產油國，早就不需要從中東進口。

由於美國擁有高額國防經費，也有眾多最新科技的飛彈與武器，川普直言「雖然我們擁有，不代表我們就必須使用。」雖然美軍一直都做好萬全準備，但在他看來、目前的伊朗已準備退讓，希望能將伊朗轉變成一個和平且發展的國家。

結束約8分鐘的演說後，川普掉頭離開會場，完全不讓現場記者提問。

雖然美國總統川普和伊朗外交部長扎里夫（Mohammad Javad Zarif）在襲擊後，第一時間內透過推特表示，暗指兩國對峙衝突將可能告一段落。

但始終並未做出正式回應的川普，白宮稍早發出聲明表示，川普將於台北時間9日零時於橢圓形辦公室對全美民眾發表演說。

從福斯新聞網的演說前報導能發現，目前執政的共和黨，大批參眾議員力挺川普的行動和命令，反批前朝歐巴馬（Barack Obama）總統對伊朗和相關恐怖份子的放任態度。
