兩天前，高齡71歲的王儲查爾斯（Prince Charles）傳出確診感染武漢肺炎，27日驚傳英國首相強森（Boris Johnson）也確診。

強森27日在Twitter發布消息指，自己經武漢肺炎採檢後確定為陽性，在過去的24小時，出現了輕微的症狀，並指出他正在進行隔離，但仍會繼續透過視訊會議領導政府。

強森說，「我們一起將武漢肺炎擊敗。」

Over the last 24 hours I have developed mild symptoms and tested positive for coronavirus.

I am now self-isolating, but I will continue to lead the government’s response via video-conference as we fight this virus.

強森也在影片中再次感謝全國上下正在積極工作的醫護、警察、教師等人員，以及申請參與協助社區弱勢的志願者，他最後強調民眾一定要待在家中，防範病毒傳播。
