美國維吉尼亞州的一所高中5月發生了震驚全美的性侵案，一名14歲的跨性別青少年在女廁性侵女學生。涉案人為原生理性別為男，但穿著裙裝的青少年，跨性別青少年可以使用女廁的校園政策也引起廣泛爭論。

據了解，在6月曾召開是否有關於廁所的性別平等政策會議，會議草草結束、並無結論，激動的受害女學生父親與支持校園政策的維權人士爆發衝突。

近來判決結果出爐，根據法官布魯克斯（Pamela L. Brooks）裁定，有足夠的證據可以確認14歲跨性別青少年犯下性侵罪刑。

受害女學生的父親指出，這名穿著裙子的男同學，在學校廁所裡強姦他的九年級女兒。肇事男孩在事後轉學到另外一所學校，據稱他在10月初又犯下另一起性攻擊案。

事發的勞登郡中學董事會（Loudoun County School Board）此前通過一項性別包容政策，允許學生根據性別認同（心理性別）而非生理性別，選擇洗手間、更衣室與參加體育競賽。

在法庭上作證的受害女孩稱，先前與被告在女廁有兩次的性行為屬於「自願」，但最後一次性行為屬於「暴力脅迫的強暴行為」。
