美國眾議院議長裴洛西（Nancy Pelosi）原預計10日率團訪問台灣，然而卻傳出確診新冠肺炎，目前無症狀，但亞洲訪問行程將延後。

裴洛西的副幕僚長漢米爾（Drew Hammill）在推特表示，「在本周稍早的陰性檢測結果之後，裴洛西議長收到了檢測陽性的通知，目前沒有症狀。議長已完整接種疫苗以及加強劑，感謝疫苗的強大保護力」。

漢米爾指出，接下來裴洛西將根據聯邦健康指南進行隔離，她也鼓勵每個人儘速接種疫苗及定期檢測，而她原定帶領出訪亞洲的國會代表團行程已經延後。
