電動車龍頭特斯拉執行長馬斯克（Elon Musk）承認，曾詢問過微軟創辦人比爾蓋茲（Bill Gates）是否持有特斯拉的空頭。

根據外洩對話，蓋茲回覆：「抱歉，現階段我無法了結放空的持倉部位。我願意跟你談談慈善事業機會。」馬斯克狠嗆：「我沒辦法跟你討論任何關於氣候變遷慈善機會，尤其是你持有大量特斯拉空倉。你明知道特斯拉主要業務與解決氣候變遷有關。」
